Whilst not the fastest firing weapon, the Kuva Stubbas have a decent fire speed, giving you all the more chances to set off status effects. As expected of a dual gun weapon, it has a high fire rate and magazine size, to compensate for its low ammo economy. The Kuva Stubba boasts both a high critical chance and very high status chance, adding to its damage potential and allowing it to be built for both – though status is preferable, as the critical multiplier isn’t anything special. Dealing high slash and impact damage with each hit, the Kuva Stubba shreds through shields and health, but aren’t so great with armor – though this can be compensated for with the right additional elemental damage type, determined by which Warframe you use to kill the Larva that becomes your Lich. The Kuva Stubba is a secondary weapon composed of dual submachine guns, which should immediately give you an idea of why it’s on this list. The Stubba is a classic Grineer weapon, but in this case, two is definitely better than just one. Whilst most of the Kuva weapons are above average, here’s a list of the best choices. Even if you already have a better version of a Kuva weapon, you can always trade your Lich to someone else.
#SHATTERED PIXEL DUNGEON WAND OF BLAST WAVE FULL#
Since you can preview which weapon you’ll get from a Kuva Larvling if you allow them to become a full Lich, it’s helpful to know what to aim for. Disintegration is probably the best as it adds a chance for Grim procs, though I don't know what effects many other wands would have, as I haven't played much mage, since mage runs tend to be pretty successful for me.Kuva Liches are tough, but killing them can earn you some of the best weapons in the game. One charge can outright kill a flame elemental, and the slow is welcome against many enemies.Īnother personal favourite is wand of corruption, though you again need some items to back it up.Īnd another useful wand - though I personally dislike it, is transfusion, as it deals significant damage against most bosses.ĮDIT: ah, you wanted to know about which wands to Imbue. The best wand for the Dwarven levels and second best if you have no other items is undoubtedly Wand of frost. The best wand at all stages of the game, no matter the rest of your items, IMO, would be disintegration. A single charge from a wand of venom can take half the health of any enemies in the caves, but it is not particularly fast. I personally rank the wand of venom amongst the best wands in the game - if you've got items to back it up. whereas other wands can have their charges spammed down when enemies catch you in melee range, that'll just kill you faster with lightning. Lightning is very powerful in melee compared to other wands thanks to the shocking proc, making it a great companion to a ring of accuracy and probably the best wand imbue in melee (which isn't saying much. Grim is also a nice on-hit proc for battlemages. Otherwise, Frost is a very powerful choice due to chilling (very useful, but harder to use than cripple for melee since the efficiency of it's slowing effect is directly tied to the remaining duration of the debuff) and freezing debuffs, along with high damage while the mob isn't suffering from previous debuffs.ĭisintegration is also madly powerful under the right circumstances and is unhindered by terrain (can pass through anything, including walls), but it's initial range is low (which affects its potential damage) and it can only scratch evil eyes (arguably one of the nastiest mobs in the dungeon). With the recent changes to the monk, you've got a good chance of never being disarmed by them if you're careful. When imbued into the staff, it allows the battlemage to cripple targets, which reduces their movement speed by 50%, allowing the battlemage to alternated between attacking and retreating to take down normal speed melee mobs without being hit. In the hands of the battlemage, it's quite destructive. Blinding targets is also extremely helpful, allowing surprise attacks against mobs and also neutering extremely damaging ranged attacker like the gnoll shaman, dwarf warlock, acidic scorpio, and evil eye.
It also can discover secret doors and, more importantly with the recent update, traps. The number of enemies classified as "evil" is pretty high (Mimic, Wraith, Fetid Rat, Goo, Skeleton, Thief/Bandit, Dwarf Warlock, Dwarf Monk/Senior, Dwarf King/lackeys, Evil Eye, Succubus, Scorpio, and all of Yog's parts!) and does 50% more damage to them, so it scales nicely with the difficulty of the dungeon. I'd give my props to Prismatic light any day as the hands-down best wand for battle mage, and an excellent wand for any other class.
